No other city comes close. It may no longer be caput mundi (capital of the world), but Rome is an epic, bubbling-over metropolis harbouring lost empires. One visit and you’ll be hooked. Rome has a glorious monumentality that it wears without reverence. Its architectural heirlooms are buzzed around by car and Vespa as if they were no more than traffic islands.
Journey with Nesossi Studios and photographers Dax Nesossi and Brian Bannerman as they spend a week in the Eternal City. See three eras of Roman history, from ancient to Baroque to Modern in vivid color and unique angles.
Dax has been a part of Nesossi Studios for seven years, joining the family business which has a 30 year history. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy with the Armed Forces Network, Dax has photographed and shot video for the military in over 40 countries on every continent except Antarctica. Having lived in Japan and Germany, Dax was able to witness with both eye and lens the lives of unique people and the places they inhabit. Dax currently resides in Sugar Land, Texas just outside of Houston and is a student at the College of Biblical Studies with an emphasis in pre-seminary. Dax ultimately wants to combine his love of photography with Christian mission work in even more remote corners of the globe. Other intrests include his three pugs and hiking.
