About the Book
Orphanage is a photo documentary of life in a South Korean orphanage during 1968 and 1969. The author, who was an officer in the U.S. Army during that period, uses the images to help refresh and reshape his memories. He also meditates on the images in an effort to better understand the likely thoughts and emotions of those captured through his lens.
