Southeast of Iceland and north of Scotland lie the Faroe Island, a green gem in the blue ocean, home to about 48.000 people.

The Faroes were colonised by Norwegian vikings in the 9th century and the population has largely descended from these settlers.

A mysterious jigsaw puzzle of 18 islands, sea, awesome light... and 70.000 sheep.

Take a deep breath!
Open up your senses and enjoy this selection of visual echoes from Faroe Islands.

Authentic, unspoiled, and most likely to remain so.
