POETRY profile in ashes, is the second poetry book I am to publish. It is my venture into the experience of healing from the emotional trauma of loosing our nineteen year old daughter Anna in 1998. She died as the result of an auto accident shortly after finding peace with whom she had grown up to be. Anna had written in one of her journals a request that her mother and I adopt and care for her child, Maille, who was then two years old. In a way, the event of Anna's death ended our lives also. We have learned that the struggle of surviving is one of learning how to live again - as different people.

This poetry is a reflection of that process.
