About the Book
A collection of black and white portrait photographs inviting us to enter the realms of the imagination. Performative, poetic & playful interventions inspired by the artist and her collections during a community festival, documented with digital photography. The work explores notions of identity, a contemporary take on fairy tale & myth presented without text as though a visual play.

About the Creator
JILL CARTER
Wiltshire, UK
I am a digital storyteller. I love creating journals and badly behaved short run or one off art books/bags/bundles crammed full with quirky drawings, insightful and humorous text, photographs and archives of curios and found objects. As a visual artist, fine art trained, my practice explores how art can develop insight and inspiration, inspire creativity, acting as a catalyst for positive change, creativity and well-being. A natural chronicler, collector and curator, I enjoy playful, poetic and performative ways of responding to people, places and life.
