Architect, urban planner, and professional illustrator, Jim Leggitt, FAIA has been practicing for over thirty years in Denver, Colorado. In addition to being the principal of LEGGITT STUDIO LLC, he has conducted drawing seminars and workshops for AIA National Conventions, AIA regional and local conferences, universities, architectural firms and allied design professionals throughout the country and Canada for over Ten years. Jim has presented at the Google SketchUp 3D Basecamps 2005, 2008 and 2010.

Leggitt authored DRAWING SHORTCUTS: Developing Quick Drawing Skills Using Today’s Technology, a 208 page full color book published in 2002 by John Wiley and Sons, New York. The book has been adopted by over 50 universities and translated in three foreign languages. Jim has recently completed DRAWING SHORTCUTS Second Edition which was published in January 2010.
