A photographic montage series constructed around a maiden fantasy—with brides and princesses, rookery birds, natural landscapes, over-scaled fauna, and symbolic objects inhabiting the picture plane.
All imagery is selected from the artist’s own photography portfolios and turn-of-the-twentieth-century photographs scanned from her family’s archives.
Two stories have been written for each image, one is a fantasy tale and the other, the truth, as interpreted by the artist.

My past may appear a little checkered:
originating in interior architecture, then meandering through graphic design, writing, and ultimately culminating in photography. During this period I worked for architectural and design studios and as a design and construction project manager for a national financial institution.
Eleven years ago, I opened my own creative studio.
I have earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington and a minor in Psychology (coursework studied at the University of Illinois, Chicago).
