Photo Artist
Great photographic art is composed of three ingredients: an arresting subject, riveting composition, and appropriate lighting. Whether a single photograph or a composite, any photographic work can be improved. These convictions guide all my work.
When creating, I let my imagination lead the way. Using only my best digital photographs as the raw material, I alter and composite in Photoshop, the ultimate and infinite darkroom, until a satisfying work of art emerges.
My portraiture has the goal of capturing my subjects as they want to appear. We work together on setting, attire, mood, and pose until we are both elated with the result, no matter how many iterations are required.
