You know how some movie brands just go on and on omitting the early stuff which some may consider to be less interesting than the thing that sparked it all off? This is nothing like that. While it is a prequel to the first book describing the emergence from a decade long wilderness, it really encompasses the genesis of all things Associate. The name origins, the balls, the wives and some of the more stranger stories that get stranger and stranger in the retelling.
Not everyone's cup of tea to be sure as some of the language and descriptions at times can be a little on edge, if you know what I mean. But as a necessary piece of historical fiction, I of course mean non-fiction, it makes essential reading for the student of Associate history.
