Pinhole photographs of the North Carolina Outer Banks.
Gregg Kemp is a visual artist living in Durham, North Carolina. He studied fine art at Richmond Professional Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University). His photographs and paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States, Europe and Japan. In 2003, he co-curated the exhibition "Pure Light: Southern Pinhole Photography" at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. For the last few years his work has focused on long exposures of pinhole photographs of the moon and the sun and incorporating these photographs into mixed media paintings.
