This is a unique collection of photographs and poems inspired by disc golf. I've had the opportunity to play some fantastic courses throughout Denver, Wyoming, Oregon and Iowa. I try and document each hole that I play by taking a photo of the tee box, the fairway and the basket of each hole. About a year of serious play, I started jotting down these little poems before I would head out to play. I would like to thank Tara Eversole, Steve Shachtman, Mark Holen, John Demers, my mom and dad for going out and enjoying the game of disc with me. I hope you like it and keep on discing!
Hi. So from the book I think you can tell that I HATE the sport of disc golf. Ok, I'm full of sheeeeeit. I love it. I can't get enough of the sport. I grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa and moved out to Denver, Colorado back in 2001. I am the younger brother to Derek Henry and the son of Don and DyAnne Henry. FYI, if you're in the shopping mode and need something embroidered, you should check out my mom's store In Stitches back in my hometown. She does amazing work. I'll be showing off some of that here pretty soon for she customized my disc golf bag. Well, thats enough for now. If you want to see some more of me you can check me out on Facebook. My page is 13damon13.
