I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and majored in Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Oregon. I trained as an English teacher in Chile and have taught in Japan and Spain. I'm happy to be living in Portland, Oregon: working with storytellers, helping people to communicate, and making books.
