“At a Distance” is an exploration of the relationships people have to each other, to their environment, and to culture. These relationships create natural social dynamics, which impart a visceral sense of place and time. But how does the photographer's engagement influence those dynamics and the perception of social information? Through a series of engaging black and white photographs "At a Distance" shows us how.
The forward of the book is written by Maria Medua, Director of the SFMOMA Artists Gallery.

Great work. Proves that photography can be artistic and informative without sacrificing either.
