This book is a compilation of photographs taken in various cities in Europe between 2007 and 2011. They are meant to show the beauty and endless variety of shapes, lines, curves and colours that only can be found in urban spaces. The pictures are organised as follows:
> Cityscapes (overviews of cities or cities' structures)
> Urban objects and spaces (buildings, achitectural structures and the spaces between them)
> Architectural details
Michel Echteld is an amateur photographer and professional health scientist. He will never leave for a city trip without camera and tripod. He has special interest in architecture photography, but he doesn’t shy away from table top still life photography or natural light portraits. Michael lives in Leiden, the Netherlands with his partner and two children. Michael shoots with a digital single lens reflex camera. He especially loves his 10-20mm wide-angle and 50mm lenses.
