I am an oil painter who studied at Le Cordon Bleu and earned a degree in Baking and Patisserie. I believe that the basis of all culinary creations is to make these items and have a sense of “art” in their creation. It is also the purpose of CulinaryConsignment.com to eventually provide information and a resource for venture capitalists and investors who are interested in funding new bakeries/restaurants. The goal is to improve the quantity of "culinary incubators" where new ideas can be brought to fruition and kitchen space can be rented from these incubators.
The author of the cookbook created the original oil paintings and illustration featured on the cover and within each art page. The book is made for the art admirer and the cook. The first section focuses on the author’s inspiration from the “grande dame” of culinary universe, Julia Child, as he receives a letter in 1991 which inspires him to apply and be accepted to the Escoffier in Paris and Boston University Intensive Culinary program. Unfortunately, John had to put his education on hold due to a financial difficulty that occurred in the 1990s. He put his desire off for at least 20 years until he can afford to attend and now I am attending Le Cordon Bleu. This book is an art book as well as a simple book of recipes.
