Click to preview VIEWFINDER: photo book

From awe inspiring grand landscapes to the stunning creations of man, and from the beauty of nature to the wonders of wildlife, the world around us amazes me. It is this amazement that makes me want to photograph our world. My art photography mainly focuses on landscapes, cityscapes, nature and wildlife.

I want my photographs to convey to you, the viewer, in a natural way, the beauty and wonder of the scene as if you were standing there with me. With that in mind, each photograph is carefully selected – both before I shoot it and after I process it – to ensure it properly conveys the emotion of the scene.

Ansel Adams once said, "Some photographers take reality... and impose the domination of their own thought and spirit. Others come before reality more tenderly and a photograph to them is an instrument of love and revelation." It is that second viewpoint that I strive for (and hopefully obtain) in my work.

The works selected in "Viewfinder" contain images from some of my favorite travels across the country and around the world. I hope you will enjoy taking a look through my lens.

The immense beauty, unique and interesting image perception and compositions, the vast array of gave us the best view of your cross-country tour. You treated your locations as though they were holy ground. Your perspectives are magical. Your eye for beauty was indeed tender and your camera indeed an instrument of love. It all shows throught so clearly in the book. And you have made it all a joy to behold. Thank You!
