About the Book
Hobos I Have Known tells the story of the men who lost their jobs during the Great Depression of the 1930s and took to the roads to find food and work. Several of these men landed in rural Nova Scotia and knocked on farm house doors hoping that the residents could and would feed them. This book gives the perspective of those people who opened their doors to these travelers.
As a bonus, the book hopes to preserve a part of history that will soon be lost as these people continue to die off. Although, a book of fiction, each story has a kernel of truth as its central core. Jump on the train and enjoy the read.
