Sadly, my Uncle Richard Madsen passed away in October 2013. Gratefully his book Ohana will keep his life alive in all of us. Thank you Uncle, Aloha.

Just finished reading Ohana, my Uncle Dick's life story. There are few books today that lead us through the life of a self-made man. While this story is written in documentary style the stories and journeys of Richard Madsen from young farm-boy in Minnesota to leading executive is a travel through time I didn't want to miss. I cannot thank my Uncle enough for putting his life story and the history of my family in print. These are facts and anecdotes that I will cherish and share with generations to come. Thank you.
