Art Spray was born and raised in Cape Breton, NS. One of his first jobs was printing black and white pictures for his hometown newspaper. He went on to study at Mount Allison University in Sackville , NB, focusing on theatre. While there, he was one of the first non-fine arts students admitted into photography classes.
Art spent close to a decade working in theatre and film as both an actor and a technician.
He currently resides in Nova Scotia, Canada.
