I received the hardcover version as a gift from a dear friend in rescue.
I've lost 4 senior dogs in the past 10 months so was a bit apprehensive about this book being depressing. Not at all, it's uplifting and gives hope and meaning to rescue. I read the entire book in one sitting. Photography and text are marvellous. I'm going to order 2 more for other friends in rescue ....
