About the Book
This book is a summary of my trip to
Northern Minnesota. My home base was the town of Ely, which is a gateway to the Boundary Waters Recreational Area. This area is gifted with an abundance of wildlife colourful forested areas, waterfalls, lakes, rivers and mine sites which offer a wide variety of photographic opportunities.
My pictures we taken around the beginning of October, 2010, which featured clear skies and crisp, cool, frosty mornings.
The culmination of this trip was an early morning stop at the Kawishiwi River and Hwy. #1 bridge which treated me to a chorus of howls from the Lake Charles wolf pack. This was an erie and most wonderful wilderness experience as I listened to the haunting voices of the entire pack which filled the cool, crisp early morning air as if we were all inside a vast outdoor auditorium.
I hope you enjoy the images in my book.
