About the Book
This book was created as a personal travelogue, with no effort to package it up for resale.
Like many others, my wife and I had the Galapagos on our "Bucket List". We visited as part of a Butterfield & Robinson tour. I don't have enough good things to say about this fine organization.
Strictly an amateur photographer, I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon AT-1, in 1978 at the age of 15. Late to the world of digital, I purchased a Canon EOS 20D in 2005, upgrading to a 7D in 2012. My main interest is travel photography, primarily nature and landscapes. I am fortunate that my family has embraced my hobby; some of the photos in my Blurb photo books were taken by them. I absolutely love the creative process required to make a photo book. From the theme, the photo editing, layout and composing text, I find it a wonderful way to create family keepsakes and to showcase the places we have been fortunate to see along this great journey we call life. Enjoy!
