During a two-week stay on the small island of Curaçao, part of the Netherlands Antilles, I drove over 1000 miles and took over 2300 pictures while at it. A selection of this photographic work has found its way into this book.
Besides a photographic impression of Curaçao, the book also contains a number of pictures of the magnificent carnival festivities of 2008.
This is the international version of this book. There is also a Dutch version available, which also contains some travel stories (in Dutch, of course).

I started off as a hobby photographer when I was about 14 years old or so, after playing around with my dad's camera, just like every other photographer did. After years and years of practice and improvement (I have never followed any photography course or whatsoever), I decided to take my photography to a next level and start a business as a freelance photographer.
I am still a student at the Delft University of Technology and working on my graduation in Information Architecture, so photography will most likely become my secondary career.
I get the most inspiration out of places or things I have never seen before and as such, travel photography is my most favourite discipline. However, I don't consider myself specialized in any photography category. I'm just enjoying my 'hobby'.
