The Journals is mostly just a travel log that moves quickly through an incredible country, meeting some pretty strange characters, including the President of Indonesia, along the way.

This is the smaller, softcover, paperback version of The Journals. It still has many images within, but they are in black and white, unless you're buying the hardcover version...Both are good! & the smaller one is much cheaper, & a good back-pocket read for on the road.
