About the Book
I bought a box of 200 35mm slides from eBay for £6.00. The title of the lot was 'Trash or Treasure?'. It was mentioned that the slides were 'taken by various photographers between the 1950's to 1980's'. On opening the box I was disappointed to find the majority of the slides were generic 'chocolate box' pictures of plants and flowers. Thirty images caught my attention. The subject matter of these thirty images were diverse and it made me wonder how and why they arrived at their final destination together. This book celebrates their unlikely union.

About the Creator
Hannah Felicity Copely
Leicestershire, England, UK.
My name is Hannah and I am a photobook artist from Leicestershire, England. I have recently graduated with an MA in Photography from De Montfort University. I work within the realms of appropriated photography. I use existing imagery to create new concepts and ideas. I have an interest in the vernacular; old snap shots, family albums... The death of a photograph as a physical (almost precious) object is something which drives me to create.
