Artist and educator Tom Sena has experimented and perfected a technique he affectionately has dubbed "inkrubbing", a fascinating process involving printmaking, photography, and old-fashioned free-hand drawing. This collection of work, spanning 2007 to 2008, includes all of Sena's inkrubs, broken down by series ("Icons", "Urban Dancers", and "Dogtown & Z-Boys"). A must for any art collector, admirer, or gallery owner with a high taste for fine art.
A native New Yorker, Tom Sena attended Manhattan School of Visual Arts, and received a B.A. Degree in Art Education from Long Island University/C.W. Post College and a M.A. Degree in Studio Arts from Adelphi University in NY. He has been a public high school art teacher since 1997, having been named a Nobel Educator of Distinction in 2005, as well as being named to the Who's Who of America's Teachers for 2005 and again in 2006. He continues to exhibit his artwork in both solo & group exhibitions, and his work is in private collections throughout the United States and worldwide. He lives in New York.
