This volume contains the entire World War One diary of Lupton Kaylor, who spent time at Fort Wood on Bedloe's Island, the U.S. Army Aerial Photographic School at Cornell University, Call Field at Wichita Falls Texas and several months at the 8th Photographic Section Headquarters Photo Lab at the Beaumont Barracks under the command of Major Edward J. Steichen in Tours France. The text in this book is primarily the diary and is supplemented by photos taken in the various locations mentioned.
