Joy Lynn Essenmacher is a certified professional midwife as well as a licensed midwife in the State of NM since the fall of 2010. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with her BSN in 2005 and worked two and a half years as an RN in labor and delivery before continuing her educational goals to become a midwife through Newlife International School of Midwifery in the Philippines. She has a heart for using her nursing and midwifery training as a ministry in Third World countries, and is currently preparing to return to the Philippines in April of 2011.
