About the Book
In a doodley galaxy, in the 2nd (and a half) dimension, there’s a little world full of crazy critters – The Oopsie Doodles. The planet Oops is a haven of misfit cut-outs and unique adventures, told through the lives of 18 Oopsie Doodles. In this book we meet these 6 characters;
Alice the Moose, who is scared of open spaces and rarely leaves the comfort of home, but she finds an ingenious solution to her problem.
Glen the Rabbit, who is really, really, really bored because Paula is always training, so he tries to fill his time with any little task or activity.
Ludwig the Owl, who can’t fly, but with the help of a friend he develops a new skill allowing him to finally spread his wings.
Geraldine the Pig, who is a very tidy pig, bordering on being a clean freak, and her pride and joy is her lovely mown grass lawn.
Woody the Pigeon, who loves living in the Big City, but can’t stand the litter everywhere, so tries his best to keep the Big City tidy.
And Magda the Elephant, who can barely remember who she is at the best of times, yet manages to be a very successful super hero.
The Oopsie Doodles books present a bold and unique visual style combining photography and illustration to create the world of Oops. Their quirky plots and funny adventures are broken down into individual character stories, nine pages long perfect for short attention spans and bedtime stories! Together they build to create an overview of a little world, not to dissimilar to our own, where something funny is always happening. The tales are suitable for 4 to 10 year olds and can be appreciated by varying levels of sophistication. They are light-hearted humorous, quirky stories that encourage creativity in the reader.
Stories which can be enjoyed individually but also enjoyed by the parent reader. Jumping in to the world of oops you’ll find something extraordinary happening at every turn.
