WEMADE, a collaboration project between Dutch designers (www.lidewij.net & www.rixxt.nl) and Indonesian craftspeople who were victims of the Bantul earthquake 2006. Goal: to increase the economic indepencence of the local craftpeople. Result: series of lifestyle products meant for export.
