The beautiful people seen in the candid photographs in this book were all made from …my usual seat… at the Crèma Espresso Bar, the greatest coffee shop in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.
I hope you enjoy the coffee flavoured photographs and narratives about the passing parade of humanity at my favourite caffeine oasis in my home town.
I was born in July 1945 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. I left Newcastle in 1971 for Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and after eighteen years of service in the Army joined the Public Service. In 2004 when made redundant I retired and in early 2005 move to Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, (where God rested on the seventh day), my current home. I took up photography as a hobby and joined the Port Macquarie Panthers Camera Club and hold the position of Print Steward. I have had success in club, inter-club, national, international and local competitions and am a member of several photographic web sites. I follow no genre of photography which allows me to strive for betterment in any form of the art I choose. My motto is: "To do the best I can with the equipment, knowledge and experience I have at any given time with any given subject." I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I have enjoyed bring it to you.
