About the Book
A collection of around 200 poems based on family and personal themes. Written across the last two decades, the poems explore a range of themes including identity, love, nature, religion, mental illness and the anguish of death.
I am a secondary English teacher of twenty year’s experience who lives in East Sussex with my wife and two children. When I am not working, I write short stories and poetry. I recently completed a collection of poems based on Old Testament stories called ‘Ichabod and Other Voices’ and am interested in the way in which the mundane and inconsequential co-exists alongside the deeply profound or historically significant.
