The majority of tourists to Italy never travel further south than Rome. In part this is because the tourist “must sees” in Italy are all in the north – Rome, Florence, and Venice. This book shows that, if one is prepared to look beyond the stereotypes, the cultural and other riches of Italy extend southwards beyond Rome. The photographs have all been digitally scanned from images taken on film between 1986 and 1993.
