The variety of subject matter I found most fascinating. The accompanying prose was exquistely worded and added another dimension which made Rainer's work all the richer.

Nova Lumine is a brilliant and compelling work of art. The woodcuts that Rainer Bertrams produces are breathtaking masterpieces. The accompanying prose and Haiku draw the reader into the works. The complexity of the art combined with the attention to the smallest detail is astounding. Bertrams use of color engulfs the viewer with his passion and sense of composition. This book is a tour de force to show the mastery of his art.
