About the Book
A "La Belle Epoque" inspired wedding, with slight recalling from Charleston and Art Nouveau.
First, the bride getting ready, with her sister; then they have breakfast together. Finally she meets the groom for an elegant dinner with some strong black and white tones, an old fashioned musical moment with a gramophone, and the vintage photo shoot (we choose expressly old-fashion posing)
Props and jewels come all directly from granny's trunk; the make up artist worked a awesome maquillage from the twenties, with strong tones, meanwhile the cake designer realised some small umbrellas, some mini cakes and a wedding cake in fondant decorated with some flowers in contrast and laces, butterflies in royal icing.
As for the graphic design and stationery, we worked a lot on some of the most recognizable and typical things of the Art Nouveau like monocromatic woven printed papers, and then treated with water, coffee and candle wax to realise this marvellous satin and smooth effect, that gave to the whole stationery a vintage chic touch! Even the paper cut was made entirely by hand.
The location is the private house of a Master of Arts, furnished with lots of details fitting perfectly with our shooting.
