My name is Diane Elgin. I am artist who loves to create paintings of landscapes. I paint with watercolors, oils and sometimes pastels. Many of my paintings are of scenes in St Croix USVI. My island is very beautiful from the architectural designs, to the beautiful landscapes and seascapes. Many viewers remember scenes in St Croix that are seen in my work. My paintings may bring back a memory from childhood or a vacation. It makes me love what I do much more.
I am widely influenced by Monet and Pissarro. I love artist from long ago who painted with love for the arts. Therefore, I know that when people view my art they will see my love of for painting.
