About the Book
This book provides a journey throughout my thesis explorations. Mainly imaged based, it is to illustrate the project’s architectural problem, my research of that problem, and the solution to that problem. it has been quite a process, but I am ultimately extremely pleased and proud of the final outcome. I would like to thank my friends, family, and professors who have pushed me as had as they have throughout not only this project, but all of my work since starting undergraduate school. I must say that I struggled greatly over the course of this thesis project, but with out struggle, the outcome is not as great. I hope you enjoy this graduate monograph which researches and studies ‘forgotten’ or empty spaces in dense urban topography. I would like to add that I use the term, ‘void’ and ‘urban void’ lightly here, as the meanings and baggage associated with those terms, are not ones I wish to carry in this project.
