In a series of collaborative work with my son Parfait,
I investigated the conditions of a dialogue between different artistic practices, and experiences.
In order to open up the possibilities of this dialogue, we discovered the enchantment of drawing after contemporary artists works such as Cy Twombly and Sam Francis.
From abstract shapes, lines, circles and mysterious codes, we uncovered a range of imaginative objects.
This set up randomly an opportunity to develop a new approach of language, form and practice. Then I didn't refrain from the desire to make objects, from these drawings.
Are they real objects, they tell a story. Shall I call them doodles; they are truly toys, hence in the toys there is meaning. Is Psyche held in them? As objects, they exist of their own. Therefore they could generate new meaning and relate their own survival. It is a reason to find answers and to question those answers.

While they are simple images, they are also territory. We need a physical exploration and the enjoyment of making, the pleasure of touch.
