About the Book
Anstruther is the main town in the East Neuk of Fife and is made up from two old burghs Anstruther Wester and Anstruther Easter, which are divided by the Dreel Burn. It has a southerly aspect and attracts a large number of visitors who enjoy the facilities it has to offer.
It has a large multi-use harbour, which has pleasure craft moored as well as fishing boats. It is a working harbour with lots to see. The Scottish Fisheries Museum is located adjacent to the harbour and the "Reaper" a 100 year old fishing boat is berthed in the harbour. The museum displays a number of exhibits and shows what life was like at the start of the last century.
