This cookbook is to benefit Nashville Musician, Bassist Chris Kent. 100% of the profits will be donated to the Kent family to help them with expenses incurred as a result of Chris' battle with Cancer.

After I saw the movie 'Under the Tuscan Sun", I had a strong desire to visit Italy. That desire turned into longing....and longing finally turned into reality! My first book is my story...in blog form...of how my dream to visit Cortona and Frances Mayes' "Bramasole" came true. I wrote the book for myself, just to have a nice memory of my trip. If anyone else finds it interesting, then that is an added bonus. My second book was born from a desire to help a wonderful family in some small way. The cookbook, "I Want to be a Chef...But, I'm Not" was created from a Facebook group that I opened with the same name. Chris Kent was one of the first people to join the group & he and I started posting food pics and exchanging recipes. Soon more folks had joined & were doing the same thing. For months I had a nagging thought to do a cookbook from the group's offerings to benefit Chris. That nagging would not go away. Finally, I listened to my inner voice & created this book.
