About the Book
My work comes from my travels during my semester abroad in Hungary. There, I was confronted by the many shades of brokenness that make up the face of Eastern Europe. In that face I was drawn to the individuals that give it color, give it hope, give it soul. I documented the eyes, wrinkles, and tiny runny noses that passed me. There, I discovered beauty, life, and stories. I long to share their faces with you.
