A selection of poems about life and love,
written by a former nurse who has drawn on lifes different experiences.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother, and live in Buckinghamshire.
I was a nurse for many years and now enjoy writing. I often think that my nursing years have given me a lot of experience to draw from!
But I don't profess to be an experienced writer - I just try to capture a feeling or an emotion in my work, and hope that comes across to the reader. Most of all, I hope you enjoy what you read - I couldn't ask for more than that!
Recently, while looking after my little grandaughter, I have been reading her stories and watching some delightful childrens programmes. It made me realise that the world is different when you are a child. The colours are brighter, imagination knows no bounds and anything is possible! I think thats wonderful, and I am all for holding on to those thoughts and feelings, even as a 'grown up'! I aim to write and illustrate as many 'Anton' books as possible!
