About the Book
“Going for the Gold” is the adventures and the things to see while prospecting.
Twelve miles west of Nome, Alaska is the Cripple River Camp. Participants of the camp are able to see various methods used to mine for gold; go fishing; view wild flowers, wildlife and the many species of migratory birds. The best part of the trip is prospecting along the Cripple River and finding some gold.
