I was born in Port Arthur, Texas. The youngest girl, of 4 children, to Eddie and Shirley Patin. I'm a poet, photographer and the owner of a small jewelery design company.

I write, because words are my passion. I love how you can take a few words, string them together and create something new and powerful.
My motto is to take the gifts God has given you and live the best life you can. Words help you to do that.

Words are freedom for me. They force me to step outside of my comfort zone and reach for things hoped for. For me there's nothing better than that.
