About the Book
A collection of informal portraits of musicians in the North East of England in 2010/2011. This is the book of the exhibition that ran at The Cluny in Newcastle from 25 May 2011 until the end of August It contains over 220 portraits of musicians from the North East of England featuring established bands such as members of Maximo Park, Frankie and the Heartstrings,Detroit Social Club, Little Comets, and the Chapman Family. It also features up and coming artists from the thriving music scene in the North East. This the culmination of the first part of this ongoing project.It features a series of informal portraits from between May 2010 and May 2011. It will be interesting in coming years to look back on this book and see how people as well as the fashions and locations have changed
