A photographic portrait of a large settlement of ancient origin in the interior of the Sultanate of Oman which was abandoned in the mid-1970's.
I started out in photography in 1973 with my mum's old Kodak Brownie 127. Four Nikons, a Rolleiflex, two Hasselblads, two Leicas, a Noblex and almost forty years later, I still have fun using that Bakelite beauty with its single optic, fixed aperture and shutter speed. Long live film!
