Biographer Carol J. La Valley's earliest memories are of sitting beside her grandfather listening to his deep bass voice read his poetry.
In 2004, she followed his encouraging words and made a 180-degree career change from massage therapy to journalism. La Valley garnered awards as a reporter at the Payson Roundup Newspaper, a columnist at The Rim Review, and as editor of the Rim Country Gazette, including the Outstanding Writing Award by the Arizona Newspaper Association in 2007 and 2009.
Ever attracted to people who are passionate about life, La Valley's business helps clients preserve their legacy with stories and photographs in full color, bound books.
