About the Book
Selections: 2009-2011 is the debut book of photographs made by artist/photographer Greg Jones.
Jones' work redefines the traditional genre of street photography in the digital age by compositing multiple frames taken of the same scene over a period of time to create , "Constructed moments."
The resulting images blur the line between fact and fiction, and allow the viewer to be immersed within a world whose truths are never so apparent as they seem. By digitally recombining photographic information, He crafts narratives of the everyday that bridge the gap between myth and mundane.
Jones' photographs have been noted for their distinct visual style culminating from years of study of classical visual language, color, and compositional theory.
