In 2008 my dad and I went on a spectacular safari in Kenya. This book contains all my best photos from the trip, organized by topic:
- The Land: Incredible landscapes from swamp to savannah, viewed from the ground and the air
- The People: Colorfully clothed Masai warriors, gentle caretakers of orphaned elephants and rhinos, our eagle-eyed guides, and others we met along the way
- The Herds: Immense herds of wildebeest and elephants, plus all the other hoofed animals- rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and my favorites, the zebras
- The Birds: Huge ostriches and tiny bee-eaters, colorful lilac-breasted rollers and ravenous vultures
- The Crossings: Incredibly dramatic and exciting viewings of herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River, trying to avoid the crocodiles that waited to pounce
- The Big Cats: Magnificent male lions napping under a tree, a group of lionesses and cubs getting ready for an evening's activity, a famous trio of cheetah brothers, plus a mama leopard and her two nearly-grown cubs

Thanks @JanetHumble. This was the one place in all the world I most wanted to visit. I was so lucky to get to go.

Very nice job. I love the photo of the big cat shaking the water off of himself. Looks like you had an experience of a lifetime.
