About the Book
Travelling through the city every day, we are all passers to each others. When you are alone, do you ever think that you do not fit in the surroundings, hence bury yourself into ipods, trying to separate yourself from the outside world? Do you notice people may be slightly different when being alone? Do you ever think about the meaning of the existence of individuals when they appear in lonely shadows? In fact, whether we laugh or cry, walk or stay, alone or being companied, we may be passers who are insignificant. However, one should never forget that passers are people who beautify our daily routine and make us less lonely. We live in the city with strangers and passers, and the seemed-to-be outsiders are important elements to the society as a whole. They are the true insiders who live in the society which we cannot go without. They are the ones who seem to be isolated but the ones who need our awareness. The photo series exhibit the conditions of lonely individuals.
